We do not accept payment for positive reviews. Our rankings are based on testing, not commercial relationships. Some links are affiliate links (see our affiliate disclosure), but they never influence a score or ranking.

Testing process

Tools are selected based on reader demand and category coverage. Each is tested hands-on against the same criteria for its category — output quality, ease of use, value and reliability — and scored out of five.

Pricing verification

All pricing is verified on the official tool website on the day of publishing and re-checked every three months. The “Last updated” date on each article reflects the most recent verification.

Update policy

AI tools change quickly. Every review is reviewed and updated on a quarterly cycle so information never goes stale.

Corrections

If you find a factual error, please contact us. We aim to correct confirmed errors within 48 hours.

Author standards

Every article is written by a named author with relevant, hands-on experience testing AI software.
